I qualify the vehicle first
Passenger count, cargo, daily distance, gas or electric, home charging, winter driving, budget and the way you want the vehicle to feel all change the recommendation.
DAVID WADDELLCADILLAC · CALGARY
HOW I HELP
I want you to leave with the vehicle that makes sense for how you actually live — not simply the vehicle with the biggest price tag.
Passenger count, cargo, daily distance, gas or electric, home charging, winter driving, budget and the way you want the vehicle to feel all change the recommendation.
If you tell me you need six or seven seats, I am not going to steer you toward a five-seat LYRIQ. That one answer immediately changes the conversation toward something like VISTIQ or the Escalade family.
I check what is in stock, what is incoming, what I can source for you and, when the exact configuration is not available, whether a factory order makes more sense.
PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE
Cadillac has a lot of technology and a growing EV lineup. My job is to translate it into the things that matter to your daily ownership.
I spend a lot of time helping clients understand real-world EV range, winter planning, home charging, road-trip charging and the difference between AC home charging and DC fast charging.
I explain what Super Cruise can do on compatible mapped roads, what the driver still has to do and how features such as automatic lane changes can make highway driving feel very different.
I demonstrate the vehicle technology that matters on the exact Cadillac — including Google built-in features, available driver-assistance systems, EV regenerative-braking controls, cameras and V-Series drive settings where equipped.
I continue my Cadillac and GM product learning through GM learning modules, hands-on time with the vehicles and the product information available to me through the dealership.
THE TEST DRIVE
Wolfe Cadillac Calgary is in a useful location for this. Within a few minutes we can experience urban streets, highway driving and rougher or winding roads instead of doing one short loop around the block.
I prepare relevant settings before the drive so you can focus on what the Cadillac feels like rather than digging through menus.
Luxury, smoothness, stability and performance are easier to understand from the driver’s seat than from a specification table.
When equipped, I can walk you through features such as Super Cruise, Google built-in, automatic doors, regenerative braking, camera systems and V-Mode.
If two Cadillacs both make sense, I would rather put the decision into a back-to-back drive than pretend one model is automatically right for everyone.
FROM SEARCH TO DELIVERY
I stay involved instead of passing you from person to person every time you have a question.
In stock means you can come see it now. Incoming means it is on the way but may still be available to another buyer. If the right Cadillac is elsewhere, I can work on getting it for you once the deal is in place. A factory order is built around the exact configuration you choose.
You can send me the VIN, exact mileage, photos, disclosed damage, tire and wheel sets and the number of keys so we can begin the appraisal before you arrive.
At delivery I can help with OnStar setup, Google sign-in, phone pairing, music apps, safety and comfort settings, charging and a Super Cruise refresher when equipped.
If you need help with a vehicle question, service, parts, accessories or warranty information, contact me. I will either answer it or connect you with the right person at Wolfe.
MY APPROACH TO THE LINEUP
These are starting points, not rules. The reason I steer some clients toward one Cadillac over another comes from their passenger needs, driving routine, cargo, charging access and what they value most behind the wheel.
Luxury sedan for someone who wants Cadillac technology and road manners without an SUV.
Midsize gasoline SUV with a smooth driving feel and an approachable place in the Cadillac lineup.
The compact Cadillac EV I start with when an urban-friendly footprint, technology and luxury matter.
A well-rounded five-seat Cadillac EV with more space, road presence, cargo room and a substantial driving feel.
The natural EV conversation when six or seven seats and a usable third row are part of the requirement.
The full-size gasoline flagship. If you need even more cargo room, Escalade ESV becomes part of the conversation.
The full-size electric flagship for someone who wants the Escalade level of presence around an EV ownership routine.
The extended electric flagship when the added cargo space is genuinely useful.
CALGARY + BEYOND
I work with clients throughout Calgary and communities such as Cochrane, Airdrie, Chestermere and Okotoks, and I can also help shoppers coming from southern Alberta, Edmonton, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
For Calgary clients, the questions I hear most often are practical: how much winter changes EV range, whether AWD makes sense, what winter tires to use, whether a home can support Level 2 charging and how Super Cruise fits into highway driving. Those are exactly the ownership questions I want this site to answer before you ever need to text me.
AFTER DELIVERY
I hope the experience is good enough that you come back to me, send your family to me and know you have somebody to call when the next automotive question comes up.
Need a service appointment? I can help connect you with one of our service advisors. Need an accessory or part? I can get our parts team involved. Have a warranty or vehicle-setting question? Reach out. If I know the answer, I will give it to you. If somebody else at Wolfe is the right expert, I will get you to them.
PUBLIC PROFILES
This is my personal Cadillac sales and product-information site. Wolfe Cadillac Calgary remains the dealership I work from.
Passenger count, daily driving, gas or electric, cargo, charging, budget and what you value behind the wheel are enough to start narrowing the right Cadillac.
