FULL-SIZE FLAGSHIP SUV
The Escalade is Cadillac’s full-size flagship: three rows, V8 power, serious road presence and a cabin built around the 55-inch curved display and Cadillac’s latest driver-assistance technology.
2026 / 2027 Canadian-market shopping overview. Equipment can vary by model year, trim, configuration and production timing; the model-year differences that matter are called out below.
6.2L V8 · 4WD · 3 ROWSThis page is built for shoppers comparing current 2026 and 2027 Canadian-market Escalade inventory. Equipment, colours, interiors and option availability can differ by model year and configuration. Cadillac factory availability and current local inventory can differ.
OFFICIAL CADILLAC BUILD & PRICE
Use Cadillac Canada’s official Build & Price tool to explore current trims, colours and options. When you have a build you like, send it to me and I can help with Wolfe Cadillac Calgary inventory or a custom order.
BASE CONFIGURATION
For 2027, Luxury includes the 6.2L V8, 4WD, Super Cruise, the 55-inch display, head-up display, surround-view cameras, panoramic roof and AKG audio before moving into the upper trims. The 2026 model year can differ, so I treat its equipment separately rather than assuming the 2027 list applies unchanged.
KEY CHOICE
These are the choices that materially change how the vehicle drives or fits your day-to-day use. Small accessories and individual RPO combinations can still vary by VIN.
The naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 is the standard Escalade engine and is paired with the 10-speed automatic and 4WD.
Escalade-V is the separate performance flagship using a supercharged 6.2L V8 with specialized chassis, braking, exhaust and appearance equipment.
2027 MODEL-YEAR DETAIL
This page also helps shoppers with 2026 Escalades, but the detailed trim/equipment matrix below is for 2027. The 2026 model year can differ, so I keep 2026 and 2027 equipment separate rather than applying 2027 content automatically.
TRIM COMPARISON
Luxury and Sport are the two starting points. Platinum Luxury and Platinum Sport are the higher-equipped versions of those two themes, while V-Series is the dedicated performance model.

WHO IT FITS
These three questions usually narrow the lineup quickly before getting into colour, interior and exact availability.
You want the full Escalade experience without the extra ESV length
You need genuine three-row space and V8 towing confidence
You want Cadillac’s flagship technology in a traditional full-size SUV
COMMON QUESTIONS
Short answers to the questions buyers usually ask before we narrow down the exact trim and configuration.
The standard Escalade uses a 6.2L V8 paired with a 10-speed automatic. Escalade-V uses a separate supercharged 6.2L V8 performance powertrain.
For 2027, Super Cruise is equipped across Luxury, Sport, Platinum Luxury, Platinum Sport and V-Series. For a 2026 vehicle, equipment can differ by model year; current connected-service status can also vary by vehicle.
Choose the standard Escalade if you want the flagship experience in the shorter body. Choose ESV when third-row cargo room and maximum interior space matter more than overall length.
KEEP COMPARING
If the Escalade is close but not perfect, these are the next two Cadillac pages I would compare.
WHERE I START
Escalade is the full-size gasoline flagship — the place I start when the client wants the presence, space and luxury experience that has made Escalade the benchmark of the Cadillac SUV lineup. If cargo behind the third row is a major priority, I bring Escalade ESV into the conversation; if the client wants the flagship experience around an EV routine, I compare Escalade IQ.
