BASE CONFIGURATION
The current non-V CT5 lineup centers on Premium Luxury and Sport. The base configuration is built around the 2.0L turbo four-cylinder, 10-speed automatic and rear-wheel drive, with AWD available.
KEY CHOICE
These are the choices that materially change how the vehicle drives or fits your day-to-day use. Small accessories and individual RPO combinations can still vary by VIN.
237 hp turbocharged four-cylinder paired with the 10-speed automatic. It keeps the CT5 lighter on its feet and is the normal starting point for both luxury and sport-oriented builds.
The 3.0L twin-turbo V6 is rated at 335 hp and 405 lb-ft, but it is no longer available to order for 2026 and is limited to any remaining Premium Luxury dealer stock.
TRIM COMPARISON
Start with core standard equipment, then compare the meaningful trim additions and major factory options worth knowing about.
Luxury-led CT5 configuration

WHO IT FITS
These three questions usually narrow the lineup quickly before getting into colour, interior and exact availability.
You want a lower, more connected driving position than an SUV
You prefer a true rear-drive luxury sedan architecture
You want the option of AWD without moving into a crossover
COMMON QUESTIONS
Short answers to the questions buyers usually ask before we narrow down the exact trim and configuration.
Yes. Rear-wheel drive is the CT5 foundation, and all-wheel drive is available on selected configurations.
The 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder is the current-order engine. The 3.0L twin-turbo V6 is no longer available to order and is limited to any remaining Premium Luxury dealer stock.
Super Cruise is equipped on both Premium Luxury and Sport. Connected-service terms and availability can vary by vehicle and subscription status.
KEEP COMPARING
If the CT5 is close but not perfect, these are the next two Cadillac pages I would compare.
WHERE I START
CT5 is where I start when a client wants Cadillac luxury, updated technology and a sedan driving position instead of an SUV. I still ask the practical questions first — passenger needs, winter driving, cargo and how the vehicle will be used — because body style should fit the client before we start talking trim.
